We are EdgeCompute, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Senior Backend Developer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts

- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level team members
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong system design and architectural thinking
- Ability to drive technical decisions with long-term impact
